Laptop Loan

We would like to make sure that you have an appropriate digital device to support your studies.

The college has a limited supply of Laptops and Chromebooks that can be loaned to students who meet the following criteria:

  • You have enrolled on your programme
  • You do not have access to a pc/laptop at home
  • You have access to WiFi (if not please inform the Library team who could look at support)

For more information and to compete application form visit MyKelvin Library Services pages

Please note you must have access to your College IT account to access the form. You can only access your IT account once you have enrolled. The IT team will have sent you an email about 60-90 minutes after you enrol.

If your application is successful, devices will be available for collection at College welcome events scheduled for W/C 14 August (check your timetable for your allocated time). The laptop will be loaned for the duration of your studies for 2023/24. Library staff will renew the device every 12 weeks. A loan agreement form will have to be completed.

Please remember the majority of studies start on week commencing 21st August – there’s a lot of laptops to give out so please ensure you have application complete before coming to library for collection.

Lastly, remember to download the Microsoft Teams and MyKelvin app ( iOS Android ) – these apps get you connected to the College communication streams!
