If you have enrolled on a course then you should have received an email from the ICT team. The email address is from firstname.lastname@example.org with the subject of ‘Welcome to Glasgow Kelvin College’
This email contains the following information:
- Your College username (i.e. email@example.com)
- How to work out your password
- How to setup MFA & SSPR (which allows you to regain access to your account if you forget your password)
- Other useful links
Please check your spam or junk email folders in case the email has been placed there instead of your Inbox.
Please see the link below for a guide for logging in and setting up Multi Factor Authentication (MFA) & Self-service Password Reset (SSPR).
Like many other places, the college uses MFA for access to college accounts from out-with the college campuses to help keep the college's and your data safe. This can be done by using the Microsoft Authenticator App or a SMS message/call to your phone.
Before you start your course, all students who have accepted an offer of a place will be sent information on how to download the MyKelvin app.
