Can you offer Work Experience
Work experience can transform the lives of our students – right from our schools’ programmes through to our HND students. But work experience is a 2-way street. As well as opening our students’ eyes to the world of industry, it can also enhance your business, give you a source of future talent or help you to meet your corporate and social responsibility aims. What’s more, it can help you to bring young-thinking to your organisation and shape the way you grow your business for the future.
Here at Kelvin, we have been lucky to be supported in work experience placements and by some amazing organisations such as Amey, Network Rail, Scottish Water, McTaggart Construction, Hubwest and Lend Lease, as well as many others. We can help you plan a placement and put you in touch with industry partners if you are new to the world of work experience.
On top of work placements, you can get involved and support Kelvin in lots of other ways – you can come in and talk to our students about your organisation, provide students with a site visit to give them a taste of your business, set a challenge or project to get these young people thinking about your business.
