About the Hospitality Department

Kelvin's Hospitality and Professional Cookery department introduces learners to the hospitality and catering industry. Classes are delivered in a realistic hospitability environment with learners based within our training kitchen, Front of House Bistro or food service hub. The hospitality department are front facing and actively involved in corporate and seasonal events, alongside the operation of our restaurant which is open to the public offering learners an array of learning opportunities and development of transferrable skills.

Our teaching team bring with them a wealth of knowledge and experiences from the hospitality industry having been employed in hotels, restaurants, cafes, bars, NHS and stadia catering.
