This course is intended for anyone with a passion for Business and provides a broad understanding of business disciplines and is delivered by staff with essential industry experience.
HND Business allows students to develop the skills required for a wide range of business posts and you will study Business Law, Marketing, Accounts, Economics, Management and Preparing Financial Forecasts
What you will learn
In addition to studying many topics associated with Business such as Marketing, Economics, Accounting, Business Law, you will also explore Project Management, Strategy, Decision Making and Risk Taking as well as learning How to Start a Business
Entry requirements
HND Business Entry Requirements Year 2:-
- HNC Business 15 Credits
For this course, if English is not your first language
- you need to have SQA ESOL Higher (or equivalent)
- If you do not have a formal ESOL qualification but your language skills meet this level, you should apply for your course and then contact our Admissions team to organise an internal language assessment here at the College.

Future prospects
You can then progress onto Business Management at Glasgow Caledonian University into the third year with an HND on selected pathway courses.
