Modern Apprenticeships
Modern Apprenticeships are a type of work-based learning that allow people to earn a wage and gain an industry-recognised qualification at the same time. They are available in over 100 different sectors, from healthcare and construction to design and pharmacy.
Modern Apprenticeships are designed with employers and industry in mind, so they provide relevant skills and experience for the current and future job market.
Anyone aged 16 or over can do a Modern Apprenticeship in Scotland, and there are four different levels to choose from, some equivalent to a degree.
