College Login
If you have enrolled on a course then you should have received an email from the ICT team. The email address is from noreply@glasgowkelvin.ac.uk with the subject of ‘Welcome to Glasgow Kelvin College’
This email contains the following information:
- Your College username (i.e. joebloggs***@glasgowkelvin.ac.uk)
- How to work out your password
- How to setup MFA & SSPR (which allows you to regain access to your account if you forget your password)
- Other useful links
Please check your spam or junk email folders in case the email has been placed there instead of your Inbox.

Like many other places, the college uses MFA for access to college accounts from out-with the college campuses to help keep the college's and your data safe. This can be done by using the Microsoft Authenticator App or a SMS message/call to your phone.
MyKelvin App
Before you start your course, all students who have accepted an offer of a place will be sent information on how to download the MyKelvin app.
MyKelvin is the College’s exciting Student Information Portal - an easy FREE app which will let you have customised information at your fingertips – all the information you’ll need to get started on your learner journey and while you study with us. It gives access to your own timetable, attendance, learning materials, your emails, library services and loans, the Student Association, College support services like funding & finance, news alerts, social media and so much more.
MyKelvin is your ‘go-to’ place for staying in touch and getting the information you’ll need and it’s easy to access while you’re on the move from any mobile device or web browser.

Log into MyKelvin - with your College email address and password. You can also access MyKelvin by going to https://mykelvin.glasgowkelvin.ac.uk .
We suggest that you visit the Getting Started page on MyKelvin as this will show you what apps you should download and provide general information about IT systems at Glasgow Kelvin.
Microsoft Outlook
Sign in online to your College email account (called Outlook) or download your mobile devices and stay up to date with important College communications about your course, College events and notices.
Microsoft Teams
This is the year of the team..... the Microsoft Team! You will be added to a class Team where you can chat with your classmates, discuss things with your tutor, view online webinars, get access to resources and do so many more things. You can find out more about Teams by going to this page on MyKelvin.
