Heather Whytock
ESOL Lecturer
Heather gained her CertTESOL qualification in 2009 and then taught English in China from 2010 to 2011.
On returning to Glasgow, she started teaching at a private language school where she taught General English and IELTS preparation classes.
She completed her DipTESOL qualification in 2015 and then moved into teacher training. She became a CELTA Tutor in 2017 and has worked on several F2F and Online CELTA courses since then. She has also worked as an IELTS Teacher Trainer for the British Council.
Since December 2024, she has worked as an ESOL Tutor at Kelvin College. She enjoys working with her learners at the college and seeing their confidence grow.
