Gosia Lundie - ESOL Lecturer

About Gosia

Gosia Lundie

ESOL Lecturer

Gosia started her teaching career as a volunteer teaching assistant in community ESOL classes in and around Glasgow in 2017. After completing her Language Studies degree at Open University and CELTA qualification in Clyde College, she spent three years teaching young and adult learners in private language schools in the south of Poland. However, she missed the ethos and atmosphere of ESOL classes and was eager to return to Scotland, a country she had called home nearly two decades ago.

Since her return in 2021, Gosia has worked for City of Glasgow College and several local authorities and charities in the Glasgow area. She joined Glasgow Kelvin in 2023 as a community ESOL lecturer and in 2024 she also joined the ESOL Department.

Her interests include increasing learner autonomy and reflection. She is also very passionate about teacher development and sharing teaching practices.

In spring 2023 she was invited to join NATECLA Scotland Committee, a volunteer organisation which aims to foster connections and share good practices among ESOL practitioners.
