About the Fashion Department

For over 30 years, the dedicated staff at Glasgow Kelvin College Fashion Collective (formerly North Glasgow College), have been at the forefront of shaping the careers of Fashion graduates, working with external partners to provide a breadth of experience and expertise. Engagement in study trips, live industry projects and cross college collaborations ensures that our graduates are career ready.

We offer a range of courses from NC Fashion Design and Manufacture to HNC/D levels in Fashion Business and Design and Production with Retail. The combination of specialist units delivered enhances future options to allow you to shape your career, whether your desire is to work in Design, Manufacture, Buying or Promotion.

Former graduates have furthered their studies in a diverse range of courses at Higher Education establishments including Glasgow Caledonian University, The Royal Conservatoire of Scotland, Heriot Watt University, Manchester Metropolitan University, Central St Martins and London College of Fashion, to name a few.

We maintain a strong link with our inspiring alumni who have successful careers in the industry spanning the globe, but still like to revisit the place where it all started to share their experiences and advice with current students.
